The inventors of the Pill decided women should still bleed every month

Good piece.

My happiest months have been the months I was pregnant and the months since my hysterectomy (ovaries still intact).

I was not comforted by the bleeding and all the physical side effects. And the hysterectomy came after two years trying NFP to understand my cycle, and three years of the pill to try to fix my cycle.

I would dearly love to meet (and understand) a woman who is comforted by the regular bleeding.
