Top 5 E-Digging Websites

Thanks to the internet, we are now able to find those old 60’s and 70’s records on the internet by E-Digging. Many producers have asked me what is the best source to find samples. So I have created a list of websites that I personally like to use to find samples when I am digging online. But to be honest, nothing beats the feeling of going to a record store and actually digging for records. It is something that is worth looking into.

The List

1. The Vinyl Frontier

This one is my personal favorite because you can find so many different genres of music on here. It goes from Soul to old Japanese records to Italian soundtracks and much more. The quality of the samples are good since most of them are actually taken off of the original vinyl record.

2. Funk My Soul

Funk My Soul, as the name shows, is full of soul and funk gems. Really alot of different artists to choose from and the quality is also very good. It is a site worth searching through when looking for soul and funk.

3. Never Enough Rhodes

This site is dedicated to mostly rhodes and anything that has to do with keyboards and chords. Alot of different and interesting sounding records on this website.

4.Into The Rythm
Has a bunch of Jazz records, but also has music from all other genres.

5. Vinyl Archéologie: Crate Digging & Break Excavation (On Facebook)

The last one on my list. This one is a Facebook group with a community of about 40,000 members. On this page it is the members that post gems that they find and you can also ask for advice if you are looking for specific types of music. They are a really friendly and helpful community of people.
So there you have it. That is the list of my favorite E-Digging websites. Of course there are many more, but these are the 5 that I like and use the most.

If you have any questions or comments please leave them below and I will answer as soon as possible.
