Prayer for Shokat

To our God in Heaven,

Let me thank you for Shokat. The determination to take care of a parent shows a great maturity and responsibility that we thank you for. We ask that you bring peace as we know that you have not left us or forsaken us.

Please take the stress and burden off of Shokat’s shoulders. It is too much to put on oneself. Father you know where Shokat needs to be and you will be the transporation to that place. As long as we believe in you, our needs will be taken care of. You are our very present help in times of trouble and we can cast all our fears aside.

We ask that you shine through Shokat and you bring your light to the surface. Use every dark moment and every trial as an example of your love and grace. Break the bonds of addiction and depression and bring happiness, not just to Shokat but his entire family. As Noah was a saving light of your grace and mercy to his family, we ask that you let Shokat be the same. Allow joyfulness and righteousness, regardless of the situation and past, reflect your will for all of us. We thank you for your love, grace and ever present salvation.
