Yankees’ Aroldis Chapman suspended over domestic violence dispute

Aroldis Chapman will begin his 30 game suspension before the season opener, however, he will participate in spring training. In October, there was an incident in which Chapman was accused of assaulting his girlfriend and firing gunshots in his garage. Because of MLB’s new domestic violence policy, Commissioner Rob Manfred came to the decision to discipline Chapman.

Donald Trump has close friends in the NFL

While he hasn’t publicly endorsed Trump, Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, hasn’t shied away from talking about his friends that are in politics. Trump has been a close friend of his for the past twenty years. Also, Tom Brady was seen with a “Make America Great Again” hat hanging in his locker, prompting suspicion of his support.

Packers agree to extension with kicker

The Green Bay Packers’ kicker, Mason Crosby, has agreed to a four-year contract extension. According to the contract, he will receive $16.1 million over four years and a $5 million signing bonus. Crosby has been with the Packers for nine consecutive seasons.
