I think there’s a difference between expecting them to be miserable without you and expecting them to miss you if you’re away. I mean, no, don’t expect to be with that person every minute of every day, but there’s a difference between “I need to be with you EVERY SINGLE SECOND” and “I missed you over that 48-hour absence.”

I mean… If they don’t miss you, why are they trying to be with you? Who would want to be with someone they don’t even miss?
