My Personal Twitter Marketing Toolbox
There are many great tools for doing Twitter better. These are the tools (or services) I use for Twitter Marketing.
ThoughtFlame = Automatically sends inspirational #quote tweets on my feed. The tweets get a lot of engagement & the service does all of the work for me.
SmarterQueue = Makes it easy to set a library of your own posts to repost later in a scheduled manner (get more traffic to blog). Also has tools to make it easy to discover good content for sharing. I just started using this and believe it will replace two apps that are nice but may no longer need: 1) Buffer good for scheduling posts and 2) MeetEdgar a great tool for reposting items.
TribeBoost = Used this service for years to build my audience on Twitter (55K targeted followers and counting).
SproutSocial = Good for general social media management. See who mentioned you, respond to queries, thank people for retweets, schedule posts. Very nice UI and good charts.
Followerwonk = Great tool for doing research if you are doing heavy Twitter marketing and need to dig deeper on things. Recently purchased by a new party, so there may be changes in pricing or features soon.
More about Followerwonk analytics features >The Ultimate Guide to Twitter Analytics.
MoSquatch = Automated content curation on Twitter. Helps keep my feed interesting with targeted content and does it all for me as a service.
ManageFlitter = Can do a lot with this. You can follow/unfollow. I mostly use it for having precise control to clean out follows to accounts that are no longer active/following me/etc.

Note: A pessimist may note that some of these services were built by myself, friends of mine, or whatever. That may be true…but these are the tools I use. I would not use them if they did not do the job.
