Police Officer Shot and Killed in Suburban Atlanta

On Thursday an officer was shot and killed at an apartment complex. According to USA Today, Maj. Greg Barney died after surgery. The suspect name has not yet been released.

Iowa zoo Must Give up Endangered Tigers and Lemurs

Cricket Hollow Zoo was forced to transfer three lemurs and four tigers to another facility. According to USA Today, U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge order this due to the unsanitary conditions and lack of proper veterinary care. Thi ruling will not effect the other animals at the zoo.

How Passengers Survived Cruising Through a Storm

The passengers aboard the Anthem of the Seas experienced a night of terror as the cruise ship sailed through a storm. According to USA Today , the ship left New Jersey on Saturday and was hit by the storm Sunday. Four passengers were injured in this cruise, but luckily, the injuries were not too serious.
