Hello World, I am Kripa Khanal.

My old best friend(right) and I(left).

Part 01: the Story of My Life in One Hunted Words

Breathtaking forests, loud. city, energetic villages, small farms, big mountains, smiles and hugs of family, and laughs of friends are all there are until an attack of goodbyes, tears, desperate last caresses, and airplanes.

No more Nepal, but the kisses of Mamau and Baba remain. In replace of the old is the wonderful new. New places, friends, family, and home. Again boxes, parties, tears, and an empty home. New goodbyes, same old pain. New places and faces. Continuos bullying and fear, but still friends and laughter. Six then ten and thirteen candles. Growing up, becoming comfortable in my own skin.

I grew up watching Bollywood movies, and they are important to me because it is a way for me to stay connected to the culture of my birthplace.

Fredrick Douglass was an African-American social reformer, abolitionist, writer, orator, and statesmen. He famously said, “ I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong.”

William Henery “Hank” Green ins an Ameican entrepreneur, business, educator, producer, and blogger. His videos have help helped me accept my nerdiness.

Part 07: A Quote to Live By

“You pray so badly for heaven

Knowing any day might be the day that you die

But maybe life on earth could be heaven

Doesn’t just the thought of it make it worth a try”
