I was part of his management team from ‘92–’96, and I think I can say you’ve captured Prince Be better than any of the music press could or would at the time (they all tried, as you point out, to position P.M. Dawn relative to other hip-hop). I do think you underestimate Jarrett’s influence, however. I’m sharing this with the rest of his team…
