Sleep deprivation destroys you.
I’ve been used to sleeping 7.5+ hours and forgot the extent to which sleep matters.
Over the past week there have been a few 5 hour sleep days.
On those days I had significantly lower willpower.
I didn’t organize any of my belongings.
If there was an item I forgot after walking 1 minute away from a location I would just leave it.
It took me 3 hours to complete a task that normally takes 1.5.
The worst part is that you can get used to this. You can get used to having low sleep and extremely low willpower.
It becomes normal.
So, if you’re sleeping less than 7–8 hours a night, try going up to 8 for a week.
See how you feel.
If you feel the same then carry on as before.
But, you’ll probably feel better.
