NFT Staking Opens March 21st

We are excited to announce that starting March 21st at 12:00 GMT, the first phase of KlayCity will open.

Users will be able to begin staking their district NFTs, and earning $LAY tokens. In additions, we are opening the “Level up” feature so users can begin leveling up their districts if they chose.

We will announce the exact block number that staking will be available on March 21st in advance.

Users can stake their district NFTs by accessing the “My Asset” tab on the KlayCity page. Users will be presented with a new “Stake” button, that allows users to stake their NFT and begin earning $LAY rolls.

On the main map, there will be a new “Roll” button that users can access to roll and begin moving around the map, and earning $LAY.

If a user wishes to level up, they can press the “Up” arrow next to the level of their district NFT.

Accessing the new “Roll” button will display a list of the users held NFTs, along with a timer displaying how much time is remaining before they can roll. Reminder: Users can roll after 24 hours of staking.

Once users begin rolling, they will begin to earn $LAY tokens. In addition, users will pay a 20% tax if they land in a country they do not own.

Country Vault system is currently under audit, and as a result taxes will be collected, but not claimable until after the vault launches.

Phase 2 :
Country Vaults are scheduled to open in Late March.

Exploring and Scavenging are currently under audit and is scheduled to launch sometime in April
