An iceberg is like your conscious and unconscious thoughts. The top part is the conscious part, what you decide to show everybody and agree on. The bottom part is your unconscious thoughts that you lock away and don’t want to deal with. You know they’re there in the back of your head but you don’t want to touch it.

Everybody has these two parts. Sometimes it’s better to keep things to yourself, but not everything. You shouldn’t ignore what you have to do. If you know you have to speak to somebody and fix something, go ahead and do it. Don’t procrastinate. It will hurt you. Do whatever you have to do to clear up your mind from those unhealthy thoughts. Remember that even trying to get professional help is not bad at all and may help a lot.

Many people think they can just forget about it and move on without solving anything. The real issue with this is that it will get you in the long run. The memories will start to flow back especially if you actually cared. Try to take care of the problem before moving on, and please, like I said do not procrastinate.
