To some extent I agree with your ideas. The concept of 100-things-to-do may provide us a capsule of enthusiasm and optimism we need daily to boost us into the idea of future. While living life as a way of managing several mini projects is how I live as well, I believe it is not supposed to be this way — a chasing after the wind , a ladder toward the goals we set for ourselves.
I am not saying we should give up investing in ourselves. I am a self-improvement freak myself. Yet, we, as human beings rather than human doings, should stop sometime to acknowledge our core skills and anticipate what we are good at and stick to those few things that give us fulfillment and make us happy without considering to follow up whether we are improving at it or not — just doing it because we simply love it and get lost in it. Improvement will come eventually.
