Dear Women that tuck their hair behind their ears,

I struggle to understand how you bare the excruciating discomfort of having pieces of your hair tucked behind your ears. The internal pain I feel watching you repeatedly slide the strands of your hair back behind your ears goes unnoticed. Is your hair in your face and you don’t like it there? I suggest the simple and best solution of pulling it back with a hair tie or two bobby pins. It really doesn’t seem that hard to me. But I watch you. I watch every time you go to re-tuck that strand of hair as if it will ruin your fashion statement if it’s not dangling from your ears. I wonder how you can stand it. All day your ears are tucked down like you have pencils put behind each. I don’t think I will ever understand it. So I just watch. My skin crawls as I sit silently observing. Just the thought of it actually makes me squirm. I don’t know how you can stand to live this way or actually enjoy how it looks and feels.
