Just wanted to correct one thing however: while The Climate Institute is closing on June 30, we expect that many of our core work programmes, including the Climate of the Nation survey series, will continue in some form. The 2017 CotN survey is currently being planned to go ahead before our June 30 transition.

It’s actually climate change. Maybe that requires or provokes a change in capitalism, maybe not; I don’t know. But I’m certain that a bunch of nice yet inherently subjective concepts like “sustainability” are not going to cut it.
A sudden death is hard to bear, and pretty much impossible to understand or to explain to anyone who hasn’t suffered that kind of loss. And that is just the shock, loss, and ‘adjustment’ part of it; there is also the torment of not saying goodbye, and wondering if it could have been prevented.
Sorry you’ve experienced this, too. I hate it.
