Men like women are fluid… Are genes hardly change, so we are a product of our environment, the society we grow up in. Being a boy today is “criminalised”, why so many boys with healthy boyish, active, adventurous, spirits are “soul crushed” in institutions designed for female nature, and put on drugs in response to calm them down.
Being a man today had little to no rewards, only responsibility. A man used to have much to live for and was treated with honour and respect by his woman and society… for too many men, this is no more. Women have all the power. Why men are afraid to commit, coz women can destroy them in the courts and take everything from him. MGTOW is the natural response in a world turning increasingly hostile towards men, always seeing us as agressive oppressors.
No, I’m not an MRA but I’m MGTOW for sure, but that doesn’t mean I’m a PUA, although I have been with my “fair share” of women. I sure treat my women with respect, but I also know to be careful to trust anyone these days… Most guys/men I know from “my generation” and later had no positive male role models and hardly any fatherly presence, so we felt completely lost with respect to what it means to be a man, especially in a world where women seem hardly to need us anymore, at least not for our classical roles.
I spent the good part of 10–20 years trying to figure out how to be a man and find my confidence, self respect etc. On that journey I did turn into a “wolf” as put in the article, and had a flirt with the PUA, bad boy style, trying out different personality types etc. all in an attempt to figure out the right “balance”, what women wanted in a man etc. In the end, it is all about confidence, being strong and not letting others control you.
Men will be good (to women), when they trust that women and society will be good to them and give them respect. Honour is dead when there is no real honour to be had. Many modern women presumably prefer the “bad boy” rather than the “good boy” and guys are quick to learn and adapt.
Men are the product of what the women and society turn us into. Radical feminism has many perverse consequences (on men) — which the radical feminists are completely blind to. Ultimately a major detriment/disaster to women and society… My 2 cents ;)
In Japan up to ~60% of young men now consider themselves “herbivores”, not chasing women, career or family. Just scraping by, drifters. They are ahead of us… This is the future. Escape by VR, games or ultimately suicide… Men in increasing numbers no longer want to live in the real world. Too much pain!
Personally I’m fine, never better , I travel a lot, go my own way, fuck society! — but, its a clear and growing trend… Men have always been the disposable valueless sex, except as soldiers and as work horses, but to destroy us completely, so we have no purpose, no trust in life, family, women or society is very dangerous in the end…
