I’m writing a book that’s taking on a life of its own. I want to start a company. I’ve always dreamed of being CEO of something that changes the world. I want to build a company connecting the dots for businesses to help them see what they can’t. Not just with tech like I do now, bigger. I want to help people realize their fullest potential. Connect the dots for people to direct their talent, challenge them, and see the opportunities they don’t. I want to help the people that make the magic happen inside big corporations tell their stories. There are stories locked inside big business that need to come out. From how teams work, how projects are delivered, customer successes, to new innovation. Everyone has a story to tell and there is an audience for every story. I want to give a TED talk. My book is the foundation but it’s all over the place right now and coming up with my 20 minute talk has been challenging (I’m full of excuses to fuel procrastination). I want to be part of a board of directors for a start-up. I want to start an organization that helps women advance their careers and do meaningful work while having flexibility to put their family first. I want to be the coach of my son’s baseball team next year. I want to learn how to play an instrument and sing. I want to present on stage in a stadium. Or sing in a stadium after I learn how to ;)
I believe in shouting my dreams to the world, because that’s how you find opportunities and people and the chance to make your dreams happen. I honestly think that if you want to do something with your life, you might as well share it around.
Shout your dreams to the world.
