Dear church folks, remember how YOU responded when people tried to frighten you into believing in God? How did that work out for you? People who have lost homes, lives and loved ones are not expecting from us scripture that seemingly scares them to believe. From us, they need to see real-life examples of what we ourselves believe. The opportunity here isn’t to minister with our mouths, but to serve with our hands, give without remorse, and be an on-the-ground representation of our faith.
…I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” — 1st Corinthians 9:22–23
None of us are more spiritual than the next person. Be the church, but also be human together.
