African Americans and other minority groups are constantly being targeted by law enforcement and questioned when just trying to live life with the freedoms they were declared a long time ago. According to the NAACP website “In 2014, African Americans constituted 2.3 million or 34%, of the total 6.8 million correctional population” as well as “African Americans are incarcerated at more than 5 times the rate of whites.” “Criminal Justice Fact Sheet” NAACP.org . It’s Unfortunate how many Blacks and Minority groups find themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time and can find themselves in jail or being arrested for crimes they did not commit.
