The vocational and technical education sector (TVET) fills a critical need in the labor market by delivering job-ready competencies. This assures a workforce with the right mix of skills for a wide range of industries, from manufacturing and construction to agriculture and technology.

The lack of trained workers is a major obstacle to Bangladesh’s progress economically. Rather than developing students’ practical abilities, which are in higher demand in today’s economy, the conventional education system emphasizes more academic information. Because graduates don’t have the skills that businesses need, youth unemployment is rampant, and human resources are being underutilized.

TVET solves this problem by providing courses in vocational training tailored to the requirements of the job market. Training, technical knowledge, and practical skills learned in these programs are directly transferable to the workplace. The ability to weather economic storms is enhanced by this diversification. Furthermore, SMEs create new jobs, propel regional growth, and alleviate poverty.

Bangladesh’s technical and vocational education (TVET) programs understand the vital role that innovation and entrepreneurship play in fostering economic development.
