Todoist instead of Things

The worst thing since I tried to switch from iOS to Andoid was the loss of Things. And not beeing able to access my iCloud calendars and contacts is not fun either. But I could easily use the calendar of my google account. If I even was not trying to get away from google. And since I paied at leat 65 € for the iOS and MacOS App I did not want to change.

So I switched back to my old iPhone 6 and a daily driver and used the Note 8 for entertainment purposes. I still thinks the screen of the Note 8 is great and having a micro SD Card to extend the memory gives me space to store literally thousands of Flac files. Whereas the 16 MB of my iPhone is a kind of nightmare. It is even difficult to have enough space to download iOS Updates sometimes.

I want to give Todoist a chance. It’s an todo list app. What could go wrong. Well actually nothing. It works for me. The only quite annoying thing to is the subscription. I donnot like subscriptions. It really pissed my of wen PHPStom and 1Passord switched to a subsciption payment model. It is gettings harder and harder to keep track on your monthly suspends I everthing is done by a monthly fee. But without the Premuim option Todoist does not even come close to the features of Things, which makes it more or less mandatory. Apart from this I started to like Todoist, which is available on my phones and my desktops and notebooks.

Well, I can live with Todoist’s UI. It not comparable to Things for sure, but it does the job.
