We (trans people and feminists) come in all different flavors. Just like all people, not all of us are nice all the time, not all of our spaces prioritize being “welcoming,” but we are living in horrible and wonderful times. There are more spaces for more people now than there were before.

Come find your people. Whatever they look like and whatever they call themselves, the ones who can see you, really see the you that is you. I promise we make more sense when we’re together than when we’re alone at our computers. There are lots of brave feminine spectrum people ready to go with you. There are lots of mentally ill queers ready to engage in self care with you.

Keep trying until you find your people, and in the meantime, try to be gentle with yourself and others.
