Welcome

Welcome to digital art’s last frontier, a dimension both near and far filled with wonder and awe — a place called Knowhere

This Terra NFT marketplace has been transformed from an empty place in the vacuum of space into a bustling digital art hub — filled with the colors of the cosmos & the stunning potential of man to create.

Introduction to Knowhere Creator (beta)

In order to attract more artists into the Terra blockchain, we wanted to lower the entry barrier for creators to the NFT space. We created Knowhere Creator, a customized NFT creator portal, designed with an artist-friendly and simple-to-use UI. Allowing anyone and everyone to mint their creative works without writing a single line of code.

Let’s dive into how it works.

Knowhere Creator (beta) Tutorial

You will be able to use the creator portal once you receive your Artist Invitation Code. Currently, Knowhere Creator is in beta, so we will slowly distribute the amount of creator code over time. You can get your invitation code by applying from this Form.

  1. Navigate to https://creator.knowhere.art to input your code & connect your wallet.
Input the invitation code and connect your wallet

2. Before you create your individual NFT, you need to first create a Collection that NFT belongs to. Create a collection to start listing your NFTs.

Select Create Collection

3. Input your Collection Details, add a Profile and a Cover photo. The dimensions are as follows:

  • Collection Name: This is the name of your Collection
  • Description: This is the description of the Collection (recommended to be < 140 characters)
  • Profile/Logo of the collection: 400 x 400 square png/jpg image
  • Cover photo: 1340 x 320 png/jpg image
Fill in your collection name, descriptions and upload logo and cover photo

4. Metadata and Rarity border: before you add individual NFTs, you can choose if you would like to add metadata or rarity

  • Rarity: If you choose to have a rarity system for your collection, there will be 6 different levels of rarities to choose from. You can toggle active your rarity in the Additional Setting section
  • Properties: To add additional metadata, you can toggle Properties. Here you can add all the available ‘keys’, such as headwear — for pfp NFTs, weapons — for spaceships, or backgrounds. For each ‘keys’, you will also need to add all the possible ‘values’ that any NFTs can have. You can create up to 20 metadata ‘keys’.

5. Collection has been created — navigate to ‘Create NFT’ bottom right of the portal to create (multiple) NFTs of that collection.

Select Create NFT button on the bottom right

6. Upload the images you wanted to mint as NFTs via the Knowhere Creator Portal. A maximum of 30 images can be uploaded each time, with a maximum of 100 images per collection. You can create more NFTs under the same collection by repeating this step after submitting each bulk for review. Knowhere Creator currently supports Images and GIFs.

Upload your images to be used as an NFT

7. Metadata and rarity filling: Once images are uploaded, you will need to fill in the name and description of each NFT, as well as choose one of the values for each key listed in step 4. You can click save when you are ready to submit for review.

Fill in the metadata, select the values for each keys, and submit it for review

8. Submit to review: Once you save, the minting request will be submitted to the Knowhere team to review. You can check the status of the approval on the review page. Please note that, at this step, the NFT is not yet minted.

If you wish to create more NFTs for the same collection, you can simply create another set of NFTs under the same collection as per step 6.

9. Minting your NFTs: Once approved, in the ‘Waiting to mint’ tab, you will be able to click create NFT contract, this will automatically create a contract for your NFT collection.

Click ‘Create NFT contract’

Once the contract is created, when in the ‘Waiting to mint’ tab, the ‘Create NFT Contract’ button will disappear. Please note that after NFT Contract is created, you will no longer be able to change the collection name, rarity, as well as keys and values list of metadata.

‘Waiting to mint’ > ‘Create NFT contract’ button disappeared

You will then be able to select mint for your NFTs, and then Voila! Your NFT will be minted in your wallet. (Make sure that you have some UST for the gas for minting). You can select the ‘Start Selling’ button to go directly to your ‘My NFT’ page on Knowhere.art.

Visit Knowhere.art > Connect your wallet > My Profile > My NFT

Or, you will be able to see your NFT on the Knowhere website, by connecting your Terra Station wallet, and selecting ‘My Profile’ > ‘My NFT’. You can manage your NFT on this page, whether it's transferring them to another wallet, or listing them for sale on Knowhere.art

‘Transfer NFT’ to other wallets, or ‘Sell this NFT’ to make them available for sale

10. Selling your NFT: You can list your NFT for sale under 2 different modes: ‘Auction’ and ‘Buy it Now’. Note that you will need some UST in your wallet as the transaction gas cost.

  • Auctions: You will be able to set a minimum price for your NFT, the auction will start once anyone places a bid, and will last for 24 hours.
  • Buy it now: This is the fixed price option, anyone would be able to purchase this NFT at a fixed price that you’ve specified. This option can be triggered if you select the check box when listing.

You can also choose to delist your NFT from the sale, provided that no one has placed any bids on your NFT yet.
