Why did Animal Eyes Shine during Dark??????🤔🤔

The eyes of the animals appear to flash to us because they reflect light.

They have something we Humans do not. They have a tapetum lucidum.

Their retinas are similar to ours but their tapetum lucidum is a reflective layer.

It helps them gather light to navigate and hunt forage, hide, travel, judge distances and identify threats in the dark.
