Our American Press, afforded uncommon & important freedoms, has lost its way. Instead of representing a true check on our government it has instead been infiltrated with those that distort the truth in order to push an inconsistent and hypocritical progressive agenda at the cost of their integrity.

The following is a leaked set of commandments they have received and followed religiously for decades. Study them now so that you might free yourself from the shackles of the Plato’s cave.

1 Deny with Friends: Quote or source another friendly news source as the basis for your article. When challenged, blame your friend.

  • Russian hacking investigation reports from CIA unnamed sources were quoted broadly by Press organizations that all quoted a discredited and false Washington Post article.
  • NBC News reporter using NYTimes to report about claims of conversation with Mexico & Australia in Trump Administration that were proven false.

2 Magnify with Friends: Coordinate the message and facts with other friendly Press organizations to make sure the narrative is set broadly.

  • Journolist, an email list owned by discredited reporter Ezra Klein, was a tool to coordinate narratives against Republicans with other liberal reporters

3 Magnify by Fronting: When you want to drill a narrative and make your reader think it’s a much bigger deal than it is, throw it on the front page and surround the article with related articles and opinions.

  • President Trump’s immigration order was prominently challenged broadly by the Press. Other false & highly opinionated articles flooded front pages such as stories from immigrants, history about how the Statue of Liberty was a muslim woman.

4 Protect Convenient Sources: None of your readers will ever challenge your unnamed or non-existent sources that help to say things that fit your narrative. Your sources are protected by what is known as Journalist-Source privilege, nobody will ever ask, you can hide behind this.

  • Numerous reports of Russian sex stories involving President Trump were floated across the media spectrum using false claims and now discredited anonymous sources.

5 Edit with Friends: It’s always good to have your friends in government or investigative organizations role-play being the Editor. Make sure you take their recommendations because it’s a small world!

  • Glenn Thrush, a discredited reporter and self-described ‘hack’, was known to frequently role-play with Clinton campaign manager, John Podesta and allow edits to his articles.

6 Ignore Men Behind Curtains: If you want to shift blame for an event easily, simply write them out of the script. Readers will fill the blanks with their villain of choice.

  • Numerous reports of Syrian bombings and massacres frequently omitted the Obama administration’s critical role in arming non-existent ‘moderate’ rebels and prolonging the conflict causing over 6 million refugees.

7 Mainstream the Fringe: Anyone you put in front of the camera or in front of the reader will become the symbol for a movement no matter how true or realistic. Association is powerful guilt in the reader’s mind.

  • Richard Spencer, a tasteless and hateful person with very little influence, has successfully been associated with a conservative movement branded the alt-right. While most conservatives and Trump supporters abhor this man and his organization, the association has been pushed by the Press.

8 Obscure Details in Plain Sight: Print the claims and data that fit your story. While data is very simple to verify, your reader will never seek to follow the source to verify. After all, the data speaks for itself and you included a footnote to the detailed data, right?

  • Numerous polls conducted during the 2016 Presidential election frequently oversampled Democrats which led to polls that had wide positive margins for Mrs. Clinton.

9 Opine Between the Lines: You are not a lowly Opinion piece writer. You write using high facts, but you must write your thoughts into the piece so that the reader can easily understand what they should think. Feel free to be liberal in applying this so your uneducated reader can benefit.

10 Launch It and Leave: Timelines are essential and there is a clear narrative that must be established. In these cases, err on the side of delivering the message. If some facts are wrong it is of no concern as the public’s memory is fickle and there is so much more to believe.

  • The extent of false new reports of draft Executive Orders has entered the public airwaves and have all been categorically been proven false. However, in these cases most new organizations have failed to acknowledge that corrections are required and have opted to leave a hanging thread of doubt.

We are hard at work at obtaining the second set of commandments from their New Testament. If you have any leaks or leads, please feel free to comment below.
