I Don’t Really Believe in “Work-Life Balance”
Danielle Morrill

The world needs fewer CEOs trying to justify their invasion of the lives of workers and more individuals who say no, reclaim their lives, and reclaim their labor. It’s easy for you to see your work as a part of yourself since you own it and everything produced by the labor of your employees. For the rest it’s just a sad reminder that survival means surrendering our self-determination to petty autocrats at the workplace, who see their leadership as a divine right and god’s gift to the unwashed masses.

When you’re willing to surrender your authority and ownership to your employees and rejoin them in the workplace as an equal, then you can talk.
