What are some of the most defining element of the dino-age?

Does dinos from the dino age have a structured civilization such as ours? Sense of collective awareness and society? Sense of shame? Modernization?

What if ancient civilizations were indeed build by dinos?

How do we know if they do or do not have a collective sense of religion, organization, politics, modesty, stories, civilization and even bias?
