Bravely written. For structure, I suggest you write a strong teasing paragraph to put at the beginning — give the reader a taste of where this piece is going to take them … because it’s a bit like wandering in the dark reading the early bits.

AND … whatever we missed/were absent for with our kids, we CAN pay it forward by over-doing it with our grandchildren!
