The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is perhaps the heartbeat of the University of Florida Gator Nation, with nearly every student having taken at least one class offered by the college. With its wide range of classes, students have an almost endless amount of options inn electives, pre-requisites, or core classes from which to choose. The college offers 37 separate majors, as well as 48 minors for its 11,000+ students.

Here’s my five reasons: it’s the largest, the most diverse in classes and majors, it has been nationally ranked many years in a row, has accrued numerous accolades over the years, and offers a myriad of study abroad options for students to choose.
I transferred to the University of Florida from its rival, Florida State University after my freshman year. For me, the choice was simple. The University of Florida College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is wonderful and will help anyone prepare for their future.
