[RECAP] AMA: Kommunitas x Honeywood
Recently, the founders of HoneyWood Official, Roman, and Richard, had an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session with Kommunitas, where they shared insights about their unique project. If you missed the AMA, don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered. Here’s a breakdown of what was discussed during the event.
SEGMENT 1: INTRODUCTION QUESTIONS
Question 1: Before we talk further. Please introduce yourself and your project. What is HoneyWood? Why did you choose that name? Is there a story behind it?
Mr. Richie: @romachi is CEO and founder, so I’m sure he can give a full overview of this and the inception 👍
Mr. Roman: I’m the co-founder of HoneyWood. @RBoccius is our global representative and community manager. Thank you! HoneyWood is a little more than just a casual game. We use the most popular casual mechanics, combining them in a very unique manner. So we are extending our presence out of the game, working with real businesses.
Honey — is that bears like Wood — is where bears live. So, HoneyWood is about bears who like to play with each other in many casual games. You can check the lore on our website honeywood.io
Question 2: How does HoneyWood relate to the Tendermint/Cosmos and Interchain Foundation technologies?
Mr. Richie: Honeywood is the first blockchain Game on Cosmos and u til today remains the primary P2E game.
Mr. Roman: HoneyWood is based on Tendermint and Cosmos-sdk. So, we have a layer-1 network, and all comission fees are left inside the game. Moreover, Richie is right, HoneyWood is the first full-fledged game in cosmos ecosystem. We’ve been working on it for more a year
And we can scale it unlimited, so the number of players can be increased more and more
right, it’s fantastic, but it’s true. Many others communicate with us in order to get experience. So, we are highly pushing the ecosystem in terms of game development
Question 3: How will HoneyWood stand out with so many GameFi and metaverse projects launching at the same time? What makes HoneyWood different from other competitors?
Mr. Richie: Onboarding is very easy. We have an easy tutorial. The dual token economy creates a sound loop for easy progress and definite earning. All mechanics are simplified with nice graphics, and the PVP becomes more and more interactive.

Mr. Roman: You can spend just 5 minutes a day and capitalize your time. So we are going to be the game who will provide the opportunity to capitalize your time, not just earn. So, If earlier you played e.g. Candy crush, just spending your time, but now you can convert your time to many pretty bonuses and profit.
Question 4: Non-crypto users are very important for mainstream adoption. How are you planning to attract non-crypto users to your project? Is there any upcoming partnership that will bring non-crypto users and real-use cases?
Mr. Richie: Firstly, mobile applications make onboarding for non crypto users easy and available
Secondly, wallets, Bridging and transferring usually prevent newcomers.

Mr. Roman: So, our main thesises are
1️⃣ Gamification of blockchain mechanics as a simple transition to Web3. For example, staking is developed inside the game;
2️⃣ Free-to-start and mass adoption by using the most popular casual game mechanics and seamless onboarding process even for web2 players;
3️⃣ Connection with offline/online businesses. Going beyond just playing and capitalizing on playing time.
if 1 is about learning blockchain mechanics, then 2st is about mass adoption and, as Richie mentioned before, publishing mobile applications, working on the mobile market. But 3st is about extending our presence for a common, non-ctypto users. Just imagine if you come to a caffe and get a small amount of Honey after purchasing a cup of coffee)
Question 5: What are the advantages of holding tokens as a long-term investment? Can you tell us about the motivations and benefits for investors to keep your tokens long-term?
Mr. Richie: By staking CONE, you will receive a % of ALL transactions within the game

Staking CONE produces Honeycoin = the in game currency allowing you to purchase in game items.

Mr. Roman: In addition to Richie told us I can add that the game is growing, we constantly add new game mechanics. So, we are preparing to publish the game to mobile market. Moreover, strong utility which we create in connection with businesses mekes the project as a very long-term.

Question 7: Let’s get to know more about the project and the great team behind it. Tell us more about your team. How many members and what are their backgrounds?
Mr. Richie: I’m Richie and my background is International Relations, but went into freelancing for Google and Amazon. Now making transition to full time web3 career as Community Manager/Social Media Manager. Gamefi is really taking off and this is the year for blockchain gaming and A.I
Mr. Roman: We have about 12 team members. Everybody is very difference and unique. So, you can check our background in our media. On our website there are many links to my profile and other team members. Different ages, different countries, but we are together:)) For example, I have more than 8 years of experience in the blockchain developing. I was a CTO on many big project, that I can’t unfortunately tell you.
