Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Makes Quiet Debut on Steam
The much-anticipated release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II on PC via Steam has produced modest initial results.
Within the first seven hours of launch, the peak online player count for Ninja Theory’s new game fell below 3,000 users.
By comparison, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, which was independently developed and released in 2017, attracted 5.6 thousand concurrent players on its launch day.
At the time of writing, the second instalment of Hellblade is only 213th on Steam’s online peak leaderboard, with Counter-Strike 2 leading the way with 960K players.
And although the game didn’t make much of a splash at first, it seems to be gaining popularity and positive feedback from players, with fans excited to see where the story goes in this new game.
