Apparently you don’t live in the real world. Wearables being mainstream? In what world? Not any world outside of the tech/marketing bubble. http://www.emarketer.com/Article/UK-Wearable-Penetration-Double-by-2016/1013092 it’s now at 7%. Now for something to be a mainstream product, it has to cross the chasm to the early majority… the early majority is at 16% — so nowhere near this year, or even with the predicted doubling which is ludicrous to expect as there is no reason for non-users to become users unless a new tech comes along that gives significantly more benefit. So I stand with mr Luddite on this one. I just think it’s easy to say ‘not going to happen next year’ instead of what is going to happen — and I for one don’t believe a 100M business comes riding on someone else’s wave…. And yes- the embedding is super pretentious.
Kevin, I can’t help but feel that you are an extreme pessimist and/or luddite.
