I Always Go A Little Mad, This Time Of Year. Remembering Her.

I think your Mum would be proud of you. For thinking of her. For keeping her memory alive. For being who you are.

My Mum’s passing was difficult for us. I try to remember the good times. I try to stay positive. Looking after her was both a challenge and a blessing. Keeping her connected with her distant relatives and friends. Trying to visit often but not as often as she’d have liked. Checking that she was OK. Sharing a meal, a smile, an evening.

I now find myself developing and selling something to help other adult children who care. It helps keep my own Mum’s memory alive.
