Who’s attending the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh?
The Future Investment Initiative is set to start in October 23, that’s 3 days from now. After the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was brought to light numerous media outlets, CEOs, company representatives and other high authority figures have announced their choice not to go the event. But the question remains: who is still attending the FII in Saudi Arabia?
The official website does offer a list of partners, not up to date:
The website has not been updated to reflect the change:
- HSBC banking chiefs has publicly announced their choice of not attending
- Credit Suisse has pulled out (although a report from americanbanker.com suggests they will be sending representatives)
- Mastercard CEO will not be going to FII
- Siemens will not attend.
As per the speakers: This URL: http://futureinvestmentinitiative.com/en/2018/speakers points to http://www.futureinvestmentinitiative.com/en/home
Fortunately Google saved it.
Tidbit: this URL from Deloitte: https://www2.deloitte.com/xe/en/pages/about-deloitte/events/future-investment-initiative-2018.html is 404'd. Anyone has it?
