In previous articles, we have outlined how Konrad’s asset tokenization platform works, from the mapping of assets such as raw material assets on its platforms to the initial steps of its tokenization, but what would asset tokenization be without tokens?

The issuance of tokens and transaction is the key to bringing about a value turnover for digital assets, especially those on the blockchain. That is the last section of the Konrad tokenization platform this article will outline today.

What, Where and How is the Konrad Platform Designed?

The Konrad platform is built on the Ethereum public chain and its infrastructure at present is based on three pillars of asset tokenization, namely raw material asset providers, the medium of exchange (Konrad platform) and the financial and regulatory institutions. During the process of development, Konrad will select several key features in all these three sections for consolidation or future smart upgrades. Such upgrades could involve the building of a smart contract library through the consolidation of smart contract templates across all three sections, or a smart risk control system upgraded from an existing risk control feature.

The diagram below features the basic framework of Konrad’s asset tokenization platform:

As shown in the figure above, the Konrad platform is designed to work based on the three pillars of asset tokenization. It can then be further divided into five levels of transactions.

The entire platform centres around these five transaction layers and in turn triggers the reward and punishment mechanisms in cryptocurrency. This achieves liquidity of assets in the physical world, while accelerating asset turnover, and increasing the value of assets.

Furthermore, having a financial decentralised application that specialises in raw material asset tokenization imposes higher demands on the platform for the performance and scalability of applications. Konrad has taken the above concerns into account and will conduct intensive upgrades and optimisations on the aspects of transaction performance and cross-chain scalability to provide the best user experience.

Conclusion?

Raw material assets are at the upstream of the entire industrial chain. On one hand, there are few economic entities that are directly associated with raw material assets, making impact factors within the economic system transparent to everyone. On the other hand, the original asset is seldom tested by other economic entities, making it rather difficult to determine the exact value of the original assets. These problems, however, highlight the need for a blockchain-based platform like Konrad to deliver not just transparency but accuracy in terms of asset valuation, especially for raw material assets that require constant check-ins.
