Make An Acoustic Stompbox Sound Great

After my ToeKicker Jam Video I received several questions about how I set the acoustic stompbox up. It really is very simple. The stompbox has a passive pickup so you don’t have to use any batteries. I just plug one end of a 1/4" instrument cable into the ToeKicker and the other end of the cable I plug directly into the instrument input jack on a Behringer USB mixer. I then run a USB cable from the Behringer directly to my laptop. That’s it. I didn’t adjust the EQ. The Bass, Mids, and high’s are all at 12 o’clock. I put the volume at half way and adjust the gain until I get a good signal but I’m not peaking out.
