Nah, I do not think he will make 2 terms. He will decline in disgust with the whole process as his tactics to push his agenda are mostly innefective. He has not learned how to work with people as he is so used to having people work for him.
Pence will likely run in 2020, not sure if he will win. I originally hoped for Kasich, but he got beat back by the Trump machine. I do not trust Hillary, but would have accepted Sanders.
I, like many people, voted for Trump and wanted him to take office and be a disruptor. I did not think he had the experience or tools to be the negotiator or governor that he touted himself to be, but he has been a very good disruptor, and that is what we needed, a disruptor to shake the cobwebs off our constitution and pull the skeletons out of so many of our leaders’ closets. I applaud him for that effect. Although, I do find him irritating in his arrogance and bully pulpit tactics — a completely ineffective means of wielding the very small amount of power our 3 leg system of government allows him.
I look forward to draining the swamp, dems and republicans alike, and fixing some things. I hope for a ratification of the “convention of states” (article 5 of constitution) so we can force a change to the constitution and institute term limits on these assholes that keep voting themselves pay raises and perks even though they work 3 days a week and take 3 long recesses every year. We should not have career politicians liked McCain and others. They come out of public office with 10’s of millions of dollars in personal net worth and a lifetime stipend! — where did that money come from? You and Me.
No, Trump will not last 2 terms, but he is doing now what many of us hoped he would do. Shake things up and bring light to a growing problem in our current systems of government.
