OMG! You only read and hear what you want to believe, you never get the full story, then you vomit out half truths in an effort to sway public opinion. This is similar to the epidemic of fake news.

For some truth: Yes, Trump has squandered his political capital on twitter feeds and attacks so many public officials. Now he did campaign that he was going to drain the swamp, and there is alot of it to drain.

Roughly 47 percent of the popular vote went to Trump, it was just spread out across many states such that he won the electoral votes. 304 electoral votes out of 531 possible, that is 57% of the electoral votes, hillary only got 227 (42%). Although hillary won the popular vote by a narrow margin:

hillary: 65,845,063 (48.6%)

Trump: 62,980,160 (46.5%)

Hmm, out of 135 million people who voted, hillary won 48.6% to Trump’s 46.5%, that is a margin of 2.1%, or more precisely 2,864,903 more votes for hillary, although they were are packed into a few densely populated coastal cities — so they only accounted for a few electoral votes overall.

So, tell me how 2.1% of the voting public (which is really 0.9% of the country population) is a huge margin win for hillary ?

Now for the other piece of propaganda you are spreading…

What is with this bullshit about the tragedy that happened in Charlottesville? Yes, for most people the message being spoken by the demonstrators was distasteful, but it is their right to speak it. They had a demonstration permit and followed all the rules. The constitution GUARANTEES their right to speak, even if it is something we do not want to hear. The problem was another group jumped in who did not have a public demonstration permit and they tried to contradict the ‘distasteful message’, that is when things got ugly.

OK. Sad story. It took 2 days for Trump to come out with a statement, in his statement he strongly disavowed the hateful speech and acts of violence, disavowed the members who got out of line, he said all the things you wanted to hear, the big complaint is that it took him 2 days. Why the F*** to you care that it took him 2 days? When he did speak on the subject it was definitive and to the point. What you wanted was for him to jump out of his chair and immediately respond to the situation. Oh Waaaahhh on you. For some of us this is simply not that big of a deal, it does not affect us in the least. Don’t care, other than a casual recognition that it was heinous acts by what seem to be badly behaving people. OK, I will stay away from them, ignore their message and avoid their space. It is their RIGHT to believe and speak as they will, but it is NOBODY’s right to take violent action against others, or to attempt to take away anyone’s rights to free speech and peaceful assembly.

Am I a Trump supporter. Hmmm, not sure. I voted for him because I wanted him to shake things up, be a disruptor. We need change and 4–8 more years of the drivel that hillary had lined up was not going to amount to change in a positive way for this country.

Is Trump affecting change in a positive way for this country? Not sure yet. He sticks his foot ( or thumbs) in his mouth alot. He is not a practiced politician who can speak volumes in dulcet tones that calm the peasantry without actually saying anything of value. He speaks his mind, rudely, crudely and un-rehearsed. Perhaps that is why so many people love him.

What is his approval rating ? 39%. Not very good, but not the worst.

Interesting fact that Reagan had a bad run in his first term too, dropped to 35% approval. In retrospect many herald him as one of our best presidents ever. Probably not you though.

So Trump is stumbling, bumbling and barging his way through this political miasma of the US government. He is making mistakes, ok, but is it all bad, or is some of it good.

He is disrupting things. good.

He is shaking out the cobwebs. good.

He is making many ‘blue blooded’ career politicians scared of losing their much valued fiefdoms. good.

Not sure if he is doing all the right things.

Not sure if the things he is doing wrong out -balance the things he is doing right.

Simply interested to see where it all goes.

Impeachment? Shut-up, that is a pipe dream. The right wing fascists will continue to tie up the government in efforts to impeach Trump, or at least trip him up with some cockamamie narrative that the slow and un-educated so easily believe, but it is all smoke and mirrors. Most of the people I know have tuned out mainstream media as we are tired of hearing the forced narrative propaganda machine.
