Thank you very much for writing this, Brendan. For the most part, I strongly agree with your recommendations. One thing I think is important to add is a broader framework of the *why* behind your suggestions. They are about healing the sicknesses of colonization, white supremacy, hetero/cis normativity, ableism, and capitalist extraction in the process of our organizing. They are about recognizing that *process* is where the transformation starts. As Ghandi wrote, “there is just the same inviolable connection between the means and the end as there is between the seed and the tree.”
Moreover, they are about building a movement across race/class/and other lines powerful enough to win. And I don’t mean just win the short-term money out of politics goals — I mean building a strong enough progressive/left movement so that when we do get money out of politics, we can get people into office who truly represent the concerns of the most oppressed people.
