You don’t think that idea seems a little disingenuous when coming from someone who already is famous and wealthy. If it’s really just about the art one can write without publishing or use a pseudonym. That’s an idea I’m struggling with. Along with the idea that thinking ones work is world changing or needed to be read seems egotistical while just the act of writing should scratch our itch. Is it just false modesty to claim fame wasn’t the goal or motivation or why certain things were done differently, after the fact of being famous/successful?
