I always thought 3-day fasting was too much of a shock for your body. I know it’s not long enough to cause a metabolic slowdown, but still your body must go into panic mode. Did you feel that?
I have been doing intermittent fasting for almost a year (8/16) and I am loving it, but I never wandered any further because of the above concern. Maybe I will try it.
For you pre-race meal, add some olives to that steak for some healthy fats. Will probably come in handy in the chilly water. 😁
