Awareness Pays Off Big Time!
Some things are more obvious than others and still remain hidden for the simple person or a person that is not thinking at all times. Or not thinking at all. Well, at any moment this could be you. It happens to me more than a few times that I would like to admit. You go through your day it’s all rosy and bright and then your mouth says something dumb, you offend friends, family members etc. It doesn’t really mean you are a bad person, it’s just that you are not completely aware of your surrounding and events. You take it all for granted. For while, you should change roles in the eternal theater and become an observer. Yes, remove yourself from acting and become an observer. You will see things that you not normally see and will experience the world from different point of view. Everything that was old and boring becomes new and all familiar becomes unknown and very hip. Why this phenomena exist? Or more accurately why you are able to change your reality by just switching your point of view or slightly changing your perspective? It’s a mystery to me. But again being aware of your reality clears out mystery and makes all things simpler. Big things are not big anymore just because they are closer to you or the horizon. And small things are not irrelevant and insignificant just because they are on a different continent. So when we will all wake up and start living by observing instead of just acting. It all depends on your pain tolerance. See, living as an actor is hard and involves a lot of reactionary acting which is painful. Living as an observer requires more thinking less stress and less reaction, but you are ready to make the right action at the right time. So being aware actually cost less and is less painful. Why don’t every one do it then? Moving from the stage to the balcony requires giving up some of the ego and being still. No glamour, no applauds, no fame. So in the name of all these previous things we are willing to suffer greatly and endure unnecessary hardship. Just to remain on the stage! We forget that someone owns the stage and if we continue in this vain of work will never be satisfied and may not even be able to get a new and better role. All this is metaphor, I hope you get me. In real live though it’s pretty real. You are ether an actor and always remain on playing the same role over and over. I don’t know about you, but playing the same role in the same movie for years gets old really quickly. I would rather move up the actor ranks or own the production company. Well, this my friend requires you to be fully aware of your surroundings, opportunities and people. And it is not just for an hour or two or a week. You should be always watching and ready. Now, I know this is kind of hard. But, if it was easy everyone will do it. So being aware I think is what separates successful people from failures and winners from losers. So keep pushing, be more aware today than yesterday. At the same time don’t forget to act once in a while and live a full life.
