Be an Ally for the Disabled! This Week at Kravis Lab!

We at Kravis Lab for Social Impact are so excited to have our own office and to celebrate, we are hitting the ground running! We have some exciting events coming up this fall!

Last year, our most popular program, Dinner with World Changers hosted 20 award-winning social innovators and entrepreneurs who had intimate dinners with students, sharing their failures, successes, dreams and life hacks! Nearly 400 students attended, and we’re bringing the series back again every Thursday starting Sept 27, with brand new worldchangers! Our first guest, Brittany Dejean is doing double duty by offering a workshop too!

Wed, Sept 26- 6:30–8:30p — Disability Ally Training with Brittany Dejean, Founder of AbleThrive (Founders Room, Honnold Mudd Library)
Have you ever been uncertain about how to engage with a person with a disability? Afraid you might say or do something wrong? You’re not alone! Brittany Dejean, award winning social entrepreneur and advocate for the people who are differently-abled, will be offering a unique workshop ….. Register here. Space is limited.

Brittany Dejean,

Brittany was determined to dance with her father at her wedding, so she and her father took dance lessons. Learning to dance again after 17 years changed his life and inspired Brittany to start AbleThrive, an online platform that crowdsources resources and tools from people with disabilities from around the globe. Dinner is free. Register here.
