MY DIET: Tasty, Nutritious, Affordable
Nutrition is one of those topics that seems to permeate every conversation these days.
But whatever your lifestyle choices. I think many would agree that what we eat is very important to our well being and longevity.
For myself. I've always eat whatever, whenever, no matter the cost without much consideration or thought... I had a carefree relationship with food... Still do for the most part...
And like so many others I eventually started noticing and putting effort into changing the undesirable consequences of my lifestyle choices.
So, about a year or more ago I spent a good deal of time putting together an affordable, healtheir diet tailored to my needs and lifestyle.
Though a little arduous. Here's a list of foods that meet my desired dietary criteria.
1). Should be whole food (with exceptions)
2). Readily available
3). Nutrient dense
4). Taste good
6). Have a long shelf life
7). Very low in carbohydrates
8). Very low sugar content
Below is a list of foods that aforementioned criteria
SEEDS & NUTS:
Water (lime or lemon infused)
Calcium & D3 (1 tablet a day)
Multivitamin (1 tablets a day)
Oil (olive, or canola)
Pretty simple huh!? Not really… The hard part is disciplining yourself and sticking to it.
