True friendship is built over time. Its quality is solely dependent upon the strength of character of the people involved.

How well a house is built depends on the quality of the materials, but more so, on the craftsmanship.

If people lie to themselves, they cannot be sincere to/with anyone else.

First rule of life: Know your self.

If you never question your own beliefs, your own opinions, your own judgments, on what basis do you question someone else…

Or worse, on what basis do you give yourself to another without question… ?
