Trump was not elected by the people — Hillary won the election of the popular vote. ( In other words Hillary was actually elected by ‘The People’.)

Trump was nominated and appointed the Presidency by the ELECTORAL COLLEGE.

It is the Electoral College that appoints our Presidents, NOT the votes of the people.

This is the second time in the last 5 elections (three Presidents), and four times since the Constitutional Amendment was enacted imbuing the electoral college the authority to elect/appoint our Presidents, that the popular vote has not coincided with the Electoral College.

Remember Gore? He won the people’s vote, but lost because it is the Electoral College which decides who will be President. Ergo, Trump.
