Gorsuch is a Republican and is also very conservative. Will he follow the law to the best of his knowledge? It’s really to soon to know which way the wind blows.
Sapere Aude, very nice thoughtful response to my comment. Thank you for that.

Unfortunately, we already do know what and how Gorsuch will rule, who and what for.

If you are as yet unfamiliar with this Federalist, and it sounds as if you are, do a little research and find out just how screwed we are with his appointment to the SC bench.

Also, fwiw, since you seem to be concerned about America’s spiraling fall from anything concerning wisdom or integrity, I thought I might mention at this time, just to help get the word out, if you aren’t aware, and everyone else!, that ‘The People’ do not elect our Presidents. The Electoral College has that authority.

The reason I bring this up is to direct everyone possible attention to who is being elected and appointed to the Electoral College.

It is these people to whom all of America should be focusing their attention, and holding their feet to the fire, so to speak. These are the people who should be getting the media air time, and be held publicly accountable for their responsibility in appointing our Presidents.

We as citizens are wasting, and allowing to be wasted, vast and insane amounts of money, time and energy on the Presidential ‘elections’.

It’s time that shit stopped. Like more than 100 years ago, time for it to stop.

We need a repeal or amended Amendment to bring back the people’s vote for electing our President.

As a point of reference, the last two out of three Presidents were appointed against the will of the people.

Imagine, if you can, how different a world we would have, in America, as well as amongst our international community, if the will of the people had primacy in the choice of our President.

Our Constitution was meant to grow with us, not be a chiseled-in-stone archaic epitaph. Our Declaration makes that perfectly clear, should anyone doubt our forefathers' intentions, or even the empirical evidence of human history, if you like.

Also, we need to rescind the corporations' right to personhood by ratifying an Amendment that explicitly addresses this critical issue. It’s time the welfare of the people took precedence over corporate rights.

(You can check out the basis, history and timeline of the power and positioning of corporate rights in our laws and Constitution at MoveToAmend.org. Likewise, if you are not so aware, RepresentUs.org and IndivisibleGuide.com/The Indivisible Movement. These are grassroots orgs that are trying to keep it real — and relevent.)

Not to bog you, or anyone else, down, or try and convert you, but if you’re not already, but interested in getting involved, which we ALL need to be, and don’t know where to start, these will give you a foot up.

Also everyone who is not already watching their political representatives, in any office, like a hawk, needs to do so, starting today.

It was our Framers' intentions that our Government be answerable and accountable to the people.

If you are familiar with our history, as well as that of recorded human civilization, you know why we are at where we are at.

There are reputable websites that will provide you with voting histories of your reps, as well as what bills and legislation they supported and or wrote.

Most especially important considering 99 percent of our political reps in all three branches of government are corporate/1Percenter-owned.

Which means they don’t give a rat’s ass what the people think. Campaign promises are nothing more than hot air.

Anyone believing any of that horseshit has been watching too many reality shows, and getting their education from sewers like ‘The Apprentice’’.

And it’s way past time America woke up from her apathetic slumber and behaved as citizenry in a peoples' democracy should behave — responsibly and accountably.

If you want your government to behave with integrity and act with nobility and honor, then give them a reason to do so.

So, Michael! 😊 Help spread the word!

Cheers! and Best Regards!
