You are my hero. One of many at the incredible organization you belong to. I got a call from Dr. McVety the afternoon that Marcus died. I could not describe in words — which is very unusual for me — the gift Dr. Nil and the rest of the team provided.

In reality, I was only taking pictures and videos for me. I had no intention of writing anything about it, until THE experience. It was so profound, so different, so peaceful, so beautiful — so perfect — that I wanted to let any part of the world that was scared of it, “Hey, I was too and here’s what happened.”

During our long conversation, it became clear that the mission is your passion and the passion is only built, spread and impacting because of people such as yourself, Laurie Rankin, that are so incredibly rare, unique and strong.
