I’m not surprised to hear that at all, I’ve seen loads claims of plagiarism levelled against him.
Do you have a good source link for that one please? Not that I don’t believe you but I can’t find anything on Google and it’d be nice to have it to show people who think he can do no wrong.
What I did find, however, was this post:
featuring claims that a book he co-wrote lifts pretty much directly from another work. I’ve checked the claims in that link against the original book and Wolfe et al (both on Archive.org) and they check out. The page numbers are a bit off due to different versions but searching for the relevant phrases is quick and easy.
