3-Day Refresh — Day 2
I’m nearing the end of day 2 on my 3-Day Refresh. I am a Beachbody Coach. I have a 3-Day Refresh challenge group on the go. All is going well for my challengers, with just a few grumblings about coffee withdrawal. That’s to be expected and it’s only for 3 days right?
What is the 3-Day Refresh?

The 3-Day Refresh is a scientifically designed program that helps you fast-track your weight loss, kick-start healthy eating, and get a clean break from bad nutrition habits. 3-Day Refresh is a simple, straightforward program that will help cleanse your body and improve the way you feel — without starving yourself. Unlike juice cleanses or liquid fasts which tend to be high in sugar and low in protein (leaving you feeling weak, hungry, and sluggish), this easy-to-follow program helps support your metabolism while nourishing your vital organs. For 3 days you’ll follow a program of 3 shakes a day, a fiber drink, plenty of filtered water, plus a wide array of fresh fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats throughout the day to keep your energy and metabolism going.
How did I do today?
Well, much the same as yesterday, only I exercised a bit more than I should have. I did PiYo buns in the morning, and then in the evening I did speed intervals for a total of 6 KM.

All I could think of BURGER. I was worried that I’d cheat when I got home. Then I realized that I forgot to take my Vanilla Fresh at supper so I had it after my run, with some caramel extract in it.
I confess that I had one cheat today. I couldn’t resist a little bit of chocolate. I’m not beating myself up over it, because I probably burned more calories than I actually took in today.
What did I eat today?
I had my shakeology breakfast with a banana in it. Then I had my Fiber Sweep. I skipped my tea today. Just didn’t think of it as I was gardening and swimming in the pool. For lunch, I had a Vanilla Fresh and garden salad right out of my garden. Can’t get much fresher than that!
My afternoon snack started off bad with some chocolate, but I followed it up with some cucumber. I love cucumber!! I eat some every day.

For supper, I had steamed veggies again, but this time I used fresh broccoli and cauliflower instead of frozen, and add some carrots. Tossed with himelayan rock salt and coconut oil. It was super yummy. I could eat it everyday. As mentioned above, I forgot my Vanilla Fresh.
How do I feel?
I feel great. My energy level is normal; I haven’t felt sluggish at all. My burger hallucinations (ha ha) that I had while running went away. I weighed myself this morning and was down one pound. Oh, I know I’m supposed to wait until the 3 days are up, but I couldn’t wait. I also measured my waist, and was down .5 inches. Not bad, eh?
I definitely wouldn’t want to do this for more than 3 days and Beachbody doesn’t recommend longer term cleanses anyway. I’m glad I’m doing this, because it’s strengthening my resolve to eat a little bit cleaner. Because it’s summer and stanky hot, I let my ice cream after supper habit sneak back in. I’m not saying that ice cream is bad, but after this cleanse, I want to save it for a weekly treat with the family and not a nightly thing.
Let’s see what Day 3 brings, shall we?
